Which World R U Living N??

We've all seen them on posters and in magazines: A shapely, scantily dressed woman trying to seduce the youth of our day into trying something she calls new and different -- becoming your own person. I'm not trying to be ugly, but God calls them harlots. Please read Proverbs 9:13-18 and Proverbs 7. No matter how separated you are you can't escape the onslaught. Aside from alluring and destroying young men, the pressure of our sensual day is on young women to look like models, become the "most wanted" by the guys in their set. It is "all the thing" to "let it all hang out", to advertize your body, to put a "for sale" sign on. (By the way, the devil is buying, so if you're not for sale, don't advertize.) Proverbs 11:22
The truth is, most born-again young women spend their teens in the same giddy and purposeless drift as the pop culture stars. They go from one guy to another, one fashion fad to another, and one campmeeting to another vowing to start serving God. However, most of them don't start until they've obtained serious scars, and wasted their most valuable years "having fun". Their lives are so saturated with the world view, "if it feels good, do it", that they forget what is really real. I'm not talking about sinners either. I'm talking about girls that are going to heaven just as sure as I am. What's wrong? They're living in a make-believe world that is as made-up as the make-up we wear. One day that world will fall apart.
What's real? What's reality? Why don't we want to face it today? Reality is that one day we will stand before God and give account for the souls we've won, the life we've lived, and the time we've wasted. Mark 4:22 It isn't comfortable to admit that we have responsibilities, and that God will require some things at our hands. It feels better (for now) to drift in a sea of do-nothing. You know -- one full of chatter and gossip (so we won't hear God's call), clothes, fashion, and make-up (so we'll fit in), guys, and get-togethers (to fill the emptiness that will pursue the Christian who shuns God's call and purpose for their lives). But every girl that sickens of this roller-coaster, meaningless life, finds in reality a sweet, undescribable, unsurmountable by all the forces of the evil one, peace in whole reliance on the One Who created her for a reason and a purpose. Although He seems to give us only pieces of a brief outline, keeping the details of our lives to Himself, we know enough to know when we can't trace His hand, we can trust His heart. Every affliction and rejection is part of His plan to shape our lives into a beautiful song that glorifies Him. Is there anyone who would like to come out of the make-believe world into the real one? You'll find your Savior waiting with open arms!
"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
